Erin was a first home buyer looking for a bargain during the COVID-19 pandemic. However, houses in her price range were flying off the market in record time and at record prices – an outcome no one could foresee.
In comparison, many other comparable local homes have been sold well over guiding prices and at the higher end of our appraisal prices.
These factors made purchasing a first home difficult at first.
After plenty of house inspections, gentle guidance and tracking the market to see what properties were actually selling for (many well over the price guide), our lovely homebuyer, fortunately, purchased her great three-bedroom property, at an excellent price, in a fantastic neighbourhood.
Not only is it the perfect home, for now, but it’s an excellent long-term investment for her.
